This is a time lapse of my first sketchbook assignment of the year. The purpose of the assignment was to identify negative and positive space in an art piece. This took about 4- 4 1/2 hours to make and i used an untra fine point Sharpie. My negative space was a hot air balloon and the positive space was henna inspired free hand work.
Here is the finished piece through a time lapse. Also my cat came to "help" me work.
